JumpStart NYC is a proven, three-month educational program to help out-of work mid-career professionals apply their knowledge, skills, and abilities in opportunities at small, entrepreneurial companies. This iteration will have a focus on "green" opportunities. JumpStart NYC has been successfully delivered 12 times, and helped participants develop new skills, sample the environment at small, entrepreneurial companies/non-profits, build new career networks, and explore project opportunities in New York’s entrepreneurial firms and arts organizations -- in many cases creating new career paths and opportunities.
